| Ceramic |
Ceramic tile is made from
clay or a mixture of organic materials and is finished
by kiln firing. Ceramic tile is available in either
glazed or unglazed finishes. Unglazed ceramic is
frost-proof.
Available
in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors and finishes,
ceramic tiles are used for countertops, floor and
wall surfaces in kitchens, baths or in decorative
places. Impervious to water, stain
resistant and easy to clean, ceramic tiles are useful
in high traffic areas and may be used
indoors or out.

Terracotta
tiles is an unglazed ceramic that is
usually red in color. Terracotta is frost proof
and is generally used outdoors. Terracotta was
used in Roman mosaics and is also used in architectural
ceramics due to its unique red color. |

tile is ceramic that is made from dry-pressed
porcelain clay resulting in a tile that is dense
and impervious to spills and stains and is, fine-grained
and smooth. |
